Privacy and cookies

This page explains what personal data we collect when you visit brava-productions.com or get in touch, what we use it for and what rights you have over it. It also lists, one by one, the cookies the site places in your browser.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Brava Productora, tax ID [COMPLETAR: NIF / CIF], registered at [COMPLETAR: domicilio social] — Alicante, España.

2. What we collect and why

Contact form. When you fill in the form on the Agency section you give us your full name, your email, your phone or WhatsApp number, the name of your company or project and the details of your enquiry. We use that data solely to reply to you and, if the conversation moves forward, to prepare the proposal you asked for. We do not use it to send you marketing you did not ask for.

Email. If you write to our contact address directly, we handle whatever data you choose to include in that message for the same purpose.

Browsing. As you move through the site, technical and usage data is collected through third-party cookies: pages visited, time spent, device type and approximate location. We use it in aggregate to understand which content is of interest and to measure our campaigns. The details are in the cookies section.

We do not collect special categories of data (health, beliefs, ethnic origin and the like), and we do not make automated decisions that affect you.

3. Our legal basis

• Your consent, when you contact us through the form or by email, and when you accept cookies that are not strictly necessary. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Pre-contractual steps, when your enquiry is the first step towards a possible engagement.
• Our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and running, and in keeping a record of communications with clients and prospective clients.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a commercial relationship are kept for as long as needed to answer them and, after that, for one year, in case you get back in touch.

If we end up working together, data is kept for the duration of the relationship and, once it ends, for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law.

Data collected through cookies is kept for the period shown for each one in the table in section 9.

5. Who else has access

We do not sell your data, nor do we pass it to third parties for their own use. It is processed on our behalf and under our instructions by the providers we need to keep the site running:

• Hostinger International Ltd. — website and email hosting.
• Google Ireland Ltd. — site analytics (Google Analytics), tag management (Google Tag Manager) and typefaces (Google Fonts).
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — advertising campaign measurement.
• Vimeo and YouTube — playback of the videos embedded on the site.

We may also disclose data to public authorities and courts where the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of those providers are US companies or may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or on another appropriate safeguard provided for in the GDPR.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

To do so, write to media@brava-productions.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We will reply within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Security

The site is served entirely over encrypted HTTPS, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data from being lost, altered or ending up in the wrong hands. No system is infallible, but should a breach occur that poses a risk to your rights, we will tell you and notify the supervisory authority.

9. Cookies

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser so it can recognise it on later visits. Some are essential for the page to work; others measure how the site is used or attribute results to our campaigns.

The embedded Vimeo and YouTube videos may set their own cookies the moment you press play. Those are governed by the privacy policies of the respective platforms.

How to manage them. You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all offer this under privacy. You can also specifically prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the opt-out add-on Google provides. Bear in mind that if you block technical cookies, parts of the site may stop behaving as you expect.

We may update this page when the services we use or the applicable rules change. The date shown at the top indicates when it was last modified.
